John Hannay, Architect, RIAS

John trained in the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow under the watchful guidance of Isi Metzstein OBE and Professor Andy MacMillan. After graduating, in 1984, he began his architecture career at Glasgow firm McGurn Logan Duncan & Opfer.

His work has taken him across the UK, with time spent at architectural practices in Glasgow, Perth, Oban and London, eventually settling in Comrie.

With an extensive portfolio of projects under his belt, from affordable housing to country castles, John, and life partner Louise, struck out on their own in 2010 and run their busy practice from their studio in Perthshire.
